12th Malaysian election

It is confirmed that the 12th Malaysian elections will be held on 8th March. It is my greatest wish to see the Barisan Nasional receive a good trashing from the opposition in view of the lackadaisical performance from the incumbent administration.

Of late, social ills and atrocities such as an unprecedented increase in crime rate, the exodus of foreigners, inflation, national disunity, racism, abuse of executive powers, violation of human rights, and corruption, have been greatly evident in civil society.

Barisan Nasional's mandate to the people has been poorly executed, and worst still in many incidents, unfulfilled. In short, an ineffectual administration should be removed from office for the betterment of the citizens who have placed great trust in the democratically elected government, only to be let-down time and time again.

It is noteworthy that in order to decrease the ruling party's domination, the opposition has to achieve at least one-third of seats in Parliament, equivalent to 70 seats or more. In doing so, Barison Nasional will be deprived of their two-third majority, which will allow them less legislative powers than the status quo.

Therefore, we should support the opposition even if it means casting a vote for PAS and Keadilan.
