For months I had been hesitant to join Blogspot. Despite the detest I have towards Xanga's cluttered layout, I was unwilling to jump ship and start anew. However, the final straw came when I realised how visually crowded my blog was; blatant advertisements stacked above my page; the unpractical page division, the irremovable information bar on the left - practically useless for anonymous bloggers like myself; but the worst reason by far, is the fact that I cannot justify my text! That is an unforgivable oversight by Xanga, considering its prevalence in the realms of cyberspace.
Blogspot, on the contrary, has been able to fulfil most of my requirements. Apart from the unapparent navigator bar at the top, I absolutely love its appearance and layout. Indeed, one man's loss is another man's gain. Having said that, I now declare that I have 'moved' to Blogger from this entry onwards. In conjunction, seeing that it is my first post, I hope this marks a great start to blogging!
