In light of the popularity of blogging over the recent years, I have had the opportunity and pleasure to read personal blogs belonging to friends, strangers and whatnot. Within their blogs, they not only provide their two-cents on a range of issues, but also personal updates which I find greatly enlightening and entertaining to read.
But apart from that, it is noteworthy to say how impressed I am by their ability to express themselves effectively and efficiently through words. Whether it be describing an object which I have never seen before or explaining an unconventional and complicated emotion, these bloggers make the use of words seem so easy.
I never had a great interest or talent in writing until early last year. To me, writing has always been a tedious chore, so to speak. The task of brainstorming, composing and synthesizing bits and pieces of information has never been my forte.
On top of that, not making any effort over the years to maintain my writing ability has not helped either.
What's worse is that I have chosen to pursue a law degree - a subject which requires a great deal of writing.
What am I to do?
I suppose I have to work very hard at my writing skills. With that said, I shall make a promise to write more often, whether online or otherwise.
