Thus far, the most pressing matter academically, would be the Government & Politics exam taking place in a few hours time. With that said, I have prepared several topics for the exam including:
- How democratic is the United Kingdom?
- Are pressure groups doing more good than harm to the United Kingdom's political system? Is democracy undermined?
- Analyze the effects of First-past-the-post and Proportional Representation. To what extent are they the quintessential electoral system in the United Kingdom?
- Assess the nature of the United Kingdom's uncodified constitution.
- How effective is the United Kingdom Parliament in scrutinizing the Executive?
- To what extent are judges in the United Kingdom independent and neutral?
That is about all. I shall have my brunch, go through my notes and travel to the British Council. Wish me luck!
