I'm amazed

It seems that a former schoolmate's brother, whom I used to play basketball with but seldom had the chance for interaction, is a barrister (the English equivalent of a Malaysian lawyer) working in the United Kingdom. Outstanding, I thought to myself, since the chances of a Malaysian earning a position in the European legal industry, whether as a solicitor or barrister is, more often than not, little to nil. Out of curiosity, I asked my schoolmate more about his brother. He spat out a link which directed me to his CV. I instantly acquiesced that he was the 'crème de la crème' (french for, cream of the crop). No doubt, he has my greatest admiration and respect.
